If you feel discomfort in your knees, hips, ankles, groin  or lower back, pay extra attention to this area of your body!  The inner thighs can be  toned and activated primarily due to exercises. So today, I’m going to show you the five best poses that help you Stretch your Inner Thigh and Groin.

1.     Frog pose

Pose benefits: it opens and stretches the hips, the inner thighs, and Groin.

Pose Benefits

 ·        More hip mobility

·        Core strengthening

Hold on to the pose for 3-6 breath cycles, or do it as a separate exercise for 5 minutes a day.

 Modify with props

If Frog Pose is too intense for your hips at the current level of flexibility, don’t be afraid to use some props to make yourself more comfortable. A couple of yoga blocks under the forearms, yoga blankets under the knees or a bolster beneath the upper body can be a great help for making this pose more relieving and enjoyable.

You can take some yoga blankets or yoga knee pads handy for sensitive knees.

  2. Yogi Squat/Garland Pose (Malasana)

Yogi Squat is a perfect stretch for the inner groin and upper thighs. Gravity and your body weight help you  release the hip muscles and awaken energy in the lower body.
