Hey 👋🏽 My name is Natasha Younge, a woman of color and independent digital journalist living in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
I founded The Younge Hollywood Blast™ (1st place, Shorty Awards 2013 & 2014) on the Paper.li platform in direct response to the lack of representation in mainstream entertainment media about diverse emerging, independent talent and creators.
This passion project expanded to become a resource for a consistent micro-subscriber audience, nearly 5000 Twitter followers, and over 1000 Facebook fans for 10 Years!!
The flagship award-winning online publication on Paper.li highlighted diverse creators and creativity world-wide while keeping readers ahead of relevant business and industry trends related to entertainment every week.
Our community-driven social media projects and conversations have helped countless creators publicize their crowdfunding projects to millions of viewers...
And to ensure media access for all, I have interviewed, livestreamed, blogged, podcast-ed and amplified our creatives' works at little to no cost. This is, however, not sustainable. So I am working with my community members and supporters, new and original, to create a more sustainable model for our news going forward. It would be an honor to have you join us!
