The loop is one of the highest-leverage decisions in NRL Fantasy β and it's also one of the most stressful to get right in the moment.
Here's a quick primer: if a field player doesn't play, their highest-ranked eligible bench player comes in as their Auto Emergency. The loop strategy means deliberately keeping a DNP player in your 17, with a quality bench player ranked high, so you can see their score before committing.
Score good β do nothing, the AE counts. Score bad β swap the DNP player out before lock, cancelling the AE.
