Here at Pyradise Ranch we specialize in rescue and rehabilitation of a very misunderstood breed of dog called Great Pyrenees dogs. They are part of LGDs and are overbred and mistreated. People believe just because they have guarding instincts they will automatically gaurd livestock. When in reality they take up to 2 yrs of training to learn how to do their jobs. Unfortunately in their puppy time they will play with their wards often maiming or even killing and they get dumped or thrown in shelters or even shot. Back yard breeders can't sell all of their puppies because the market is saturated and end up dumping full litters. It used to be all of my dogs would get adopted up north mostly NE. But now shelters even in these places have Pyrenees. Resulting in me having dogs for adoption for over a year. Please neuter or spay your dogs.
