Lately I’ve been working on a project named Dogeared. It’s a book tracking and discovery site. It’s definitely still early, but it’s something I’ve wanted to exist for a long time.
The idea is simple: a place to keep track of what you’re reading, what you’ve read, and what you want to read next, without all the noise. No ads, no algorithms trying to push content at you, and no paywall just to use it. Just books, and people who love them.
I’m building it to feel lightweight, fast, and actually enjoyable to use. More like a personal notebook crossed with a community, rather than a platform trying to monetize your attention.
If you’ve ever felt like there should be a better alternative out there, that’s what I’m aiming for.
