WUSSY is an independent, Atlanta-based Queer media company founded in 2015. We created WUSSY because we wanted the autonomy to tell our own stories. Our Queer community is vast, colorful, vibrant, and a hell of a lot more fun than the traditional capital G gay mainstream media portrays us.
The core of our mission is to create spaces for Queer artists. We do that through --
Publishing a Bi-Annual print magazine, featuring a vast array of international Queer artists, movers, and shakers. We've self-published and self-distributed eight volumes so far.Curating monthly events -- drag shows, film screenings, art exhibitions, comedy events, poetry readings, open mics and more! The WUSSY Podcast Network -- launched in the summer of 2020, we publish three weekly shows (Good Judy, WUSSY Movie Club, and Secure the Gag) Fostering community via social media -- we have garnered an active following on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter who look to us for updated news on Queer Art & Culture Lots and lots of memesRecent supporters
