That's why I started this podcast. My life is full. Between my overnight shifts in healthcare, raising my family, and carving out time to write my own stories, there aren't many hours left in the day. But when I sit down to prepare for an interview or edit an episode, something shifts. The exhaustion fades into the background because I'm doing work that feels essential—connecting storytellers with readers, building a community around the craft of writing, and reminding independent authors that their work has value and deserves to be heard.
What drives me is simple: I remember what it felt like to be a writer wondering if anyone would ever care about my stories. I remember the isolation of creating in the margins of a busy life. This podcast is my way of saying to every independent author out there: your voice matters, and you're not alone. Every episode is a small act of resistance against the idea that only traditionally published books deserve attention and respect.
