À propos OJP
🚀 Hi there! I'm building OJP – the Open JDBC Proxy
I'm deeply passionate about creating tools that make scalable architectures more accessible and efficient. OJP is an open-source JDBC driver and proxy server designed to help developers manage relational database connections more intelligently—especially in modern environments like microservices, event-driven systems, and serverless platforms.
The idea for OJP came from a real need: too many applications struggle with database overload when they scale. I wanted a solution that works out-of-the-box, supports multiple databases, and doesn’t require re-architecting your stack. So I built OJP to bridge that gap—seamlessly replacing native JDBC drivers while handling connection pooling smartly via gRPC and HikariCP.
☕️ Why Buy Me a Coffee?
Maintaining and improving a project like this takes time—lots of coding, testing, documentation, and responding to community feedback. Your support helps me dedicate more hours to development, implement features like RAFT consensus and advanced JDBC capabilities, and keep this project free and open for everyone.
Whether you're using OJP in production or just like the idea of smarter database connectivity, your coffee means a lot. It fuels the late nights and keeps the momentum going. Thank you for being part of this journey! 🙌
