Do you feel down because you're doing everything correctly, but nothing's changing?
If that's the case, I want to tell you something important: Your time for success is on its way!
"And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac." Genesis 21:1-13 KJV
Let's think about the story of Abraham and Sarah in the Bible.
God told them they'd have a child, but Sarah couldn't get pregnant for years.
Even though they were worried and unsure, they kept believing in God.
Eventually, in Genesis 21, God’s promise to Abraham and Sarah is fulfilled. God gave them a miracle child named Isaac when Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90.
It showed that God's timing is perfect and that He can do anything, even when it seems impossible.
Just like Abraham and Sarah, you might be going through a time where you have to wait and aren't sure what's going to happen.
But don't worry, because God isn't stuck by time or what's going on around you.
He has a perfect plan for your life, and He knows exactly when to make it happen.
The time when things work out for you might not match what you expect or want, but it's all part of God's wise and powerful plan.
So, how do we handle waiting and keep believing in God's timing?
Well, let's look at Galatians 6:9. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”
It tells us not to get tired of doing good things because when the time is right, we'll see good results if we don't give up.
Just like Abraham and Sarah, let's keep trusting in what God promised and stay committed to doing what He asks, even if it feels like things are taking a long time to happen.
Think about how happy and amazed Abraham and Sarah must have been when they finally got to hold their baby boy after waiting for so long.
They had been unsure and worried along the way, but God kept His promise to them.
Their story shows us that God's timing is always right, even if it seems like things are taking too long or are impossible.
Let's pray:
"Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise of a harvest in due time. Help us to trust in Your timing and to remain faithful in doing what is right. Strengthen our faith and patience as we wait for our right time to come. In Jesus' name, Amen."
