We are seeking solitude and understanding
hidden within our sense of time and place.
All the while we're propped up by our coattails,
forced to listen to narratives unfinished.
Once secure in the knowledge that those
who took refuge in our complacency
are now securely attached to our orbit
we will begin the process all over again.
