The words we speak have power. The words we write have power. Writing has always been the place where I can slow down, breathe, and tell the truth without rushing or performing. On the page, I can think deeply, feel fully, and make sense of the world — something life rarely gives us space for anymore.

I come from a long line of women who taught me that storytelling is how we heal, connect, and grow. Now, as a woman of a certain age finally finishing college and stepping into my work as a teacher, advocate, and storyteller, I’m writing with intention — for myself, for the children I serve, and for anyone navigating change.

WordSpark is where I explore the emotional lives of children, the responsibility adults carry, and the generational patterns we’re working to break. It’s where I write through the feelings, the pain, the healing, and the joy — all the parts that make us who we are.
