Two years ago I started building my concrete raised koi pond with a glass window and a DIY filter. The pond has 2450L (647 Gallon) and measures 1750mm x 1550mm x 900mm. The window has 800mm x 400mm x 12mm. The filter consists of two 220L (58 gallons) barrels, one with 6 brushes and the other with jap mat and lava rock. Between the barrels I´ve got a 40w submersible UV lamp, it turns on from 9 pm to 5 am, from May to September. The pump flow runs from 8000L/h to 15000L/h.
