This is what the timber trailer looked like when I bought it. The only mod I have made here in this image, is the chainsaw holder.
It had manual hydralic levers that I would have to tie off to the back window frame, so I could sit facing backwards in the driver's seat and operate the crane.
It was awful to work with, but at the same time a blessing when I first got it. Because it meant I could transport logs without getting them full of mud and sand, like when I was skidding them all the way out.
It would dull up the chainsaw indeed, but the worst part was how fast the blades for my portable bandsawmill would get dull. A brand new hardmetal blade would be dull by only 1-5 cuts!
