Last Tuesday, I had a fantastic time at COVA's Beach Trivia night, I played with the Social Awkward in VA (A women-only group), a great group to hang out with if you just PCS’d to town or are looking for a group to do something with. This event was held in the enclosed heated tent, just a few steps away from the bars doors. I had a great night filled with beer, friends, and knowledge. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was both friendly and welcoming. Despite being on crutches, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the staff was accommodating and helped me however they could. I cannot wait to attend more events at COVA, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
Something different about COVA is that all the Beer, Cider, and Wine are all on Tap, which is done as self-service. First you need to buy a drink card that you get at the register, and then you pick up the glassware you are going to drink out of. Finally, you get your drink card scanned at the self-service machine and then you are free to fill up your glass with your choice of beverage. This unique system of dispensing drinks not only guarantees freshness, but also encourages customers to try different types of drinks without having to commit to a full bottle or pint.
If you're not a fan of alcohol, don't worry! COVA has you covered with their unique and delicious coffee creations.
