I’m Jim — a hardware hacker, embedded security nerd, ham radio operator, and RF/IoT breaker-builder.
I live where firmware, signals, and weird boards collide: ESP32/STM/CYD/Embedded Linux experiments, SDR, NFC/RFID, UART/I2C poking, packet captures, lasers, 3D printing, probes, and the occasional “why is this packet doing that?” rabbit hole.
By day I lead cybersecurity architecture and operations. After hours, I turn small devices into learning platforms, test rigs, security demos, and beautifully overcomplicated lab toys.
I like practical security: trace the wire, read the firmware, map the radio, understand the protocol, then build something useful from the evidence.
