The child was snuggled warm in her bed when suddenly a vision burst forth in her head.
She was terrified of the sudden intrusion, and though, at first, she thought that she was having a nightmare, she soon realized that this vision, this creature of terror and light, was not a dream, but a reality.
"Wake up," the being demanded, and as the girl roused herself from the groggy stupor of deep sleep her training began to take over. She became hyper aware of her surroundings as her young brain began working overtime, cataloging and processing the events.
"You don't know me, Agent Ria, but I know you, and I have a message for you directly from the Adon. He has been watching you, among others, and you have uniquely proven yourself, not only capable, but willing, to undertake a very important mission. This directive demands you employ every ounce of training you have received, since, I won't lie to you, this mission will be difficult and require you to risk your life, in multiple ways and on many occasions.
"However, the Adon has pledged to support you in any way possible. The success of this mission is of critical importance. Do you accept?"
