It's me, Chandler! I'm walked 400 miles across Portugal on the Camino de Santiago in Summer 2023. Now I’m going back to walk 500 miles on the Camino Frances as a Funds for Teacher Fellow! This amazing opportunity is paying for my flight and accommodation and most of my food! I’ll need to pay for my laundry, extra coffees, blister prevention, expensive merino wool clothing, gear, etc. The encouragement from my supporters- some that I don’t even know were watching the journey- kept me going! The Camino was the hardest physical challenge I’ve ever done. A year later, I still reflect on my camino experience almost daily. Thank you so much for being a part of it and encouraging me to keep going! I am so lucky to be so loved and supported. The biggest lesson I learned that still prevails: one step at a time. But don’t forget to look back to see how far you’ve come.
