Hello! I'm an outdoorsy person and adventure film maker. I'm a lil bit (a lot) in love with the Wild Places and sharing my jaunts out & about.
2024 I started having mild breathlessness & pain issues but was able to push on, tried to fix myself with exercise but I got worse. Throughout 2025 I gradually lost the ability to hike or wear the rucksack, and it was discovered I have previously undiagnosed severe pectus excavatum (caved in chest) which is affecting my heart and also causing damage to my chest & spine joints.
Summer 2026 - the NHS funding for my surgery has just been granted! I'm gonna get fixed! 🤩
September 2026 - I've been NUSSed! Successful 3-bar Nuss procedure 10.09.26. Now in recovery and getting stronger each day :)
