How it works:

Whenever a Pool Report is sent to our email inbox, it is automatically sent to the server. Each Pool Report varies widely in structure and content. Headers, bodies, and footers differ depending on the type of report, whether it is in-town or out-of-town, a presidential action, a press release, a daily schedule, or another format entirely. Because of this variability, the system uses an AI-driven classification and sorting process to identify the report type before any formatting occurs.

Once classified, the report enters a rigorous formatting pipeline that is specifically tailored to each possible report type. The journalist-provided email header is separated from the body and footer, with each component undergoing a distinct formatting process. At no point is the underlying content altered, with the sole exception of daily schedules, which are reformatted to maximize clarity and visual appeal for wide distribution on social media.

Finally, the body is reformatted for publication on X, while the footer is structured to provide additional context for each post. After formatting is complete, the final output is published via the X API.
