Whole Health is an innovative and accessible integrated approach to wellbeing, engaging people in activities to inspire healthy living. The programme is based on 4 modules, each designed to incorporate the latest scientific evidence together with proven methods - ancient and modern - to provide a solid foundation for being well and building resilience to life's ups and downs.
MINDFULNESS
The first part of the programme explores what it is to be aware of our present-moment experience, accepting what we find and responding rather than reacting. This simple practice done regularly helps to stabilise the mind and creates a sense of peace and calmness.
NUTRITION
The next part addresses what it means to eat well and take care of our gut health. There's few things more important to our wellbeing than our diet - what we eat affects everything from our moods and mental processes to our strength and immunity and ability to recover.
MOVEMENT
Movement is central to being well and promotes more than just physical fitness. This part of the programme gets us moving with easy exercises we can build into our day including bending, twisting and stretching plus simple qigong and yoga movements.
KINDNESS
We finish the programme by exploring kindness towards ourselves and others, and the implications for our health and the health of the communities where we live and work. Often overlooked, this key aspect of our experience has profound consequences for our wellbeing.
Throughout the programme we'll be learning lots, sharing ideas and having fun. There's more information here, on each part of the programme, which is available to supporters but hidden from public view.
