Yes yes my friends! 👋 Today I’m at The Stakesby Arms on Byland Road in Whitby for something new — it’s their VERY FIRST Sunday carvery! 😃
So let’s see what it’s like! 👀
Today’s meats are:

🍗 Chicken
And of course… I’ve gone for a bit of all three! 😂👌

They’re serving the carvery from 1pm until 3pm today — so if you fancy a Sunday roast, this could be one to try!
The Stakesby Arms is a proper local community pub, away from the busy harbour area. It’s been described as a modern pub by Whitby standards and has long served the local Stakesby community. The pub is also close to Whitby Museum and Pannett Park , and sits near the start of the old railway route now known as the Cinder Track.
And interestingly, the pub has had a few chapters over the years — it even had a period when it was closed for around 12 months before reopening as a community pub around this time last year. 🙌
