Dear Ben,
I saw your article : Turn Your iPhone Into a Dumb Phone: The Simple Guide (2024). Because I wanted to find a way to make my iPhone to be like a dumb phone, your article really gave me many help. Thank you so much!
cf. I only have four apps in my displayed iPhone : Messages, Phone, Photos, Settings. I want my Photos app to be deactivated like Safari as you taught. If you find a way, please let me know.
Have a good day!

Dear Doyum,Thank you for your kind donation! I'm happy to hear you've been able to dumb down your iPhone thanks to the blog post I wrote. Enjoy the extra mind space and time this will give you.You cannot deactivate the Photos app. But, I recently read an article that says this will be possible later this year, at least in Europe:"[Apple] said Thursday that software updates later this year will allow iPhone and iPad owners in the EU to delete the company’s pre-installed applications. Those programs include the Safari web browser, the App Store, and its photo, camera and messaging apps—tools that are synonymous with the company’s flagship product."Best,Ben
