It (was) the most highly requested game in MapGenie's history. I'd never played it before, but when life gives you synthetic lemons, you squeeze - and boy, was that juice worth it. I reckon CD PROJEKT RED think so, too - have you seen how yellow the game's marketing is?!
Any huge triple-A game can be intimidating to map, especially when it's a city that's practically collapsing in on itself. Once the ball started rolling, though, I realised it wouldn't be so bad! After all, you can find every side job, gig, tarot card, iconic weapon, apartment decoration, and more.
Unfortunately, in this case, the 'and more' includes shards. They're small, easy-to-miss text pickups that contain some truly fascinating bits of lore, but they're bloody everywhere. There's a reason why other maps didn't bother to include them, but I'm what the residents of Night City would call a gonk, so figured "why not?". Alas, a thousand shard pins later, I have entered cyberpsychosis.
Map's pretty sick, though. Check it out, choom.
