This podcast is independently researched, written, and produced by me, Jay Gadd. I am a history teacher in Kentucky who is doing this for the love of history, education, and Kentucky.

Funding my travels as I bounce around the state to meet and interview new people for the show. It helps me to pay artists, HUMAN, artists, to create new artwork, music, and sounds to improve the podcast experience for you! It also supports the subscriptions and fees for the software and equipment I will be using.

What the heck is an Ale-8?
I do not drink coffee despite being raised by coffee drinkers. I prefer the sweet taste of an Ale-8 ginger soda, which just like this show, is a Kentucky original!
