Hi, I'm Bart 👋
Smart home enthusiast from Belgium, dad, and someone who spends way too many late nights tinkering with YAML files. What started as "let me just automate one lamp" has grown into a fully automated home with solar panels, a battery, an EV charger, and a dashboard I'm probably too proud of.
Along the way I kept running into things I needed that just didn't exist — so I started building them myself. Home Assistant integrations, custom components, automations for dynamic energy tariffs. Everything I build I share open source with the community, because I've benefited enormously from other people's work.
