Safe Night Project — Walk for Change

Now 14 days into this journey — with 12 full days of walking — and just under 200 miles covered.

Currently in Bridlington, taking a moment at my cousin’s before heading further north along the east coast.

I’ll be honest — it’s been physically tiring and mentally frustrating at times. Some days flow, others don’t. Sometimes the road takes you nowhere, and sometimes there isn’t even a road where you’re going.

There hasn’t been much interaction today. A couple of older lads early on, a dog walker who helped with a change of direction, and someone at a caravan park. That’s about it.

I’m also learning things about myself out here. Like needing to have more patience. I can get annoyed with questions — and yeah, sometimes I can be a bit of a twat about it. But this journey isn’t just about miles, it’s about sorting that side of things too.

Despite everything, the direction hasn’t changed.

So far, £273 has been raised, and the goal is still to reach £5,000 to start building a safe overnight emergency shelter in Lincoln — something real, something needed.

Donations help massively, but more than anything right now, it’s support that keeps this moving. The rest follows from that.

If you can support, donate, or share, it all makes a difference:

Still moving. Still going.
