Support since the news article on the BBC has been incredible, and overwhelming! Rest assured all the likes shares, comments and indeed donations are never expected, but deeply appreciated. I do this because I love it, and the motivation to build this into a national powerhouse of a site/app is at an all-time high.
In time, I hope to foster a number of connections with pages/outlets across a number of major cities as well as collaborations with brands I believe in (and ones connected with laundry!). I'd like to have a full app on Android and iOS, too, which will take a bit longer but in the meantime you can share the site to your homescreen on your phone/tablet to behave in a very similar way to an app.
Rest assured, the data in the background will always be tested for accuracy. Only recently the maximum temperatures were underreading so there was a little background update to diagnose and correct this.
