A proposito di Daniel W
I have a habit of helping people.
Sometimes that means fixing a computer, helping with a small job, supporting a charity, or serving at my local church. Occasionally it means being handed a device with the explanation, “It was working yesterday,” which is always useful diagnostic information.
I generally do these things because I can, and because small acts of help make life a little bit easier for everyone. I don’t expect payment, but some people are determined to contribute anyway. Rather than having the awkward “no, really - you don’t have to” conversation five times, I made this page.
Contributions help cover tools, parts, fuel, supplies, and coffee - the standard operating expenses of being informally volunteered for things. They also help me continue saying yes when someone needs a hand.
There is absolutely no obligation to contribute. A sincere thank-you is more than enough! But if you would like to buy me a coffee, support the work, or compensate me for explaining where the power button is, it will be gratefully received and put to good use.
