I’m Stan Cromlish, the storyteller, tinkerer, and chief coffee drinker behind Wandering Gypsy RV Life and the Rolling Smooth book series.

I’ve spent years rolling down backroads in Bertie Bea, wrestling with stuck slides, chasing mystery leaks, and surviving more than a few rounds of the black tank blues. I’ve had breakdowns on the side of the highway, campgrounds that didn’t look anything like the brochure, and “simple” fixes that turned into all-day adventures with a toolbox and a prayer.

And that’s exactly why I do this.

I believe RV life is about freedom, community, and real stories, not just perfectly staged campground photos. When things go sideways, and they will, I want you to feel prepared, encouraged, and maybe even a little entertained.
