We used to spend our vacations at all-inclusive hotels – convenience, buffets, and pools at our fingertips. But over time, we felt like something was missing. We realized that the true essence of a place can only be experienced by exploring on your own. Now, we travel differently – organizing trips ourselves, walking through cities, and soaking in every detail. This way, we discover local culture, cuisine, and everyday life. What’s more, traveling independently often turns out to be not only richer in experiences but also significantly cheaper!
We’ve been deeply inspired by Anthony Bourdain’s journeys – his approach to exploring the world, the depth of his experiences, and his authenticity. One image that struck me particularly shows him sitting under the words: "Be a traveller, not a tourist." This phrase has become our motto. We strive to be travelers, not tourists – to discover, not just observe.
Walk'in World is our family project – I manage everything and create graphics, my wife plans the trips and skillfully handles the camera, Filip edits the videos and takes care of the technical side of the channel, and Julka provides the best company 😊 Together, we showcase places that have captivated us from the perspective of walking tours.
