After a long journey in the UAE, today I’m starting a new one in a “very” different country. Different from the one I was born & raised in for 31 years & from the one I lived in for almost 13 years. The one that made Today’s Walid... To Start Again!

But today’s start is different. I’m not starting from “Nothing” as I did back in 2008. I’m starting from a new better point, after learning, developing & maturing A LOT. Actually, during these past years, I’ve learned more than what some people learned during their lifetime. I’m not another ego-driven smart"Pants", I’m just telling you a fact about my life, & you’ll know why in the next few words.

My Day one in The UAE was my first day as a “Security Guard” on a construction site in the middle of nowhere. My Visa was “Mason Builder” & my salary was AED1500… yea it's around 300

That was my start, & I don’t mean to look down at both jobs, or at the people who’re accepting this amount of salary. It’s just for you to compare between “how I started & what I ended up with”.

To spice things up, the day I travelled to the UAE, I didn’t have one proper skill, even my English wasn't there. I think all that I knew was “Good Morning”?

But after 13 years I left the country as an “Editor, Copywriter/ UX Writer, & Translator with  PR & Digital Marketing Background”. I'm also a photographer, graphic designer, video editor, & creating content for my YouTube Channel, podcast & the Blog

As I always answer when someone asks me “Why are you telling us this story?”.

It’s to share this unique experience that "maybe" will encourage or inspire someone else to start & not be tied by age, money, or the level of education

My goal is to help others to find the right "Self Learning" path & encourage them to start & keep going. and that's exactly what I'm doing in every piece of content, whether a video or a podcast or just post on Facebook.
