I've loved canals my whole life and believe their potential to rejuvenate neglected areas is second to none. A 'living' heritage that can be enjoyed by everyone no matter what their interests. Canals are an integral part of British life and still have an important part to play in 21st century living, be it for physical, mental health, climate change, regeneration, environmental, job creation and economic benefits. Canals are for everyone and long may that continue to be so!
