The Amalthea is my own handcrafted deck made from drawings that I curated based on complex human emotions and experiences. One of tarot’s weaknesses are its limitations. The cards will always mean the same thing and there’s little room to grow- but that’s where oracle decks come in. The Amalthea is my own oracle deck.
Let’s start with some examples.
Clover represents radical acceptance of yourself. Letting yourself love the things you love without fear of judgement. It is about expressing yourself in a genuine way that isn’t contaminated by outside expectations. It is also about living your spiritual/religious values everyday and feeling aligned with what your soul believes. This card is all about freedom from doubt and not restricting yourself.
The Eagle is about the smallness of humanity. Reminding you that you are small in the grand scheme of space and the billions of galaxies outside of yourself. It is a reminder of your insignificance and how that isn’t a bad thing- it’s liberating. It is okay to be small.
God gives you the message that you have been granted a wish, and the universe wants to help you go where you want to be. Perhaps you have been going through hardship, this card emerges to showcase hope and reward on the horizon. Or maybe you have been living faithfully to yourself and your belief system and it is time to celebrate that about yourself. “Where do you want to go?”

Astrogirl speaks similarly to “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” This card is about rage and anger and utilizing it in a productive manner- dismantling a system or relationship that has been harmful. Leveling something corrupt to rubble with no remorse. You can picture a mother scolding her child for damaging someone else’s property, or breaking off a relationship with someone who has no regard for her or the people in their lives.
The Cannibal is one of my most powerful cards ever created. If you’re into astrology, think of Gemini. For everyone else, this card is about facades, false personas or being tricked in some way. However, the biggest message of this card is duality. “Two truths can coexist.” The Sun in the sky at the heart of our galaxy is the bringer of life. It is the reason we are able to eat and live and thrive, yet it is also responsible for pain and cancers and burns beyond repair. The Sun is both the bringer of life and death.
