making textile art in the solidarity economy

I'm a generationally-taught textile artist deeply committed to creative reciprocity and equitable access to art. I'm in the third year of a growing pay-what-you-wish project on Instagram (and beyond!) wherein I offer 5 small textile pieces each week for folks to purchase at whatever price they'd like to pay. Recipients are chosen randomly and I do everything I can to ensure that everyone who wants a piece gets one.


The pay what you wish model is beautiful but can be unpredictable. I truly appreciate any support you can lend so I can continue to offer my work in this way and expand this approach into all aspects of my work ♥
