If you landed here it probably means that we met on the road, or had a long discussion late at night, so glad to see you again !
Here you will find the book I wrote after a 14 month journey in South and Central America, it talks as much about what I experienced there as much of the people I met.You will find discovery and surpassing of self, introspection, doubt and conviction, a lot of solidarity and even a bit of love. Also some considerations about how I ended there, the changes happening when you travel on the long run, the purpose of things, and a crowd of more or less subtly broached other things.
In the 19th century the "grand tour" was meant for young people to travel to France, Switzerland or Italy, to see how life abroad is, to widen their horizon, grow up their mind, to be more aware of the world around them. This is the vision of tourism I always had over the years, and all what I wanted to put in this book, going further than just a meaningless list of famous places and digging into human mind, through mine. If possible with poetry.
This book is a long questioning, that I had, that I am sure many other people had, and even more will have. This book is not just a tale, I meant it to arise reflection, to be more than a travel story. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as it has been useful to me to write it.
