AJ Pareja. Definition ng age doesn’t matter and grabe dedication and discipline niya sa sport both indoor and sa beach.

Your best NCAA Season and why?
Hmmm last playing year ko (Season 92). Best season kasi iba feeling ng last playing year na, lahat ng practices mo bilang na so ibibigay mo na lahat. Each game is totoong last mo na so no choice ka but to give your all. Not just sa game pero pati na rin sa teammates mo kailangan andyan ka para sa kanila.
Are you more comfortable playing off the bench or as a starter?
Syempre lahat tayo gusto nasa starting 6, pero dyan pumapasok yung healthy competition ng bawat isa sa team. Kung sino mas nagpe-perform ng ayos sa loob bakit mo pa papalitan diba? Lahat naman ng member ng team may role, maliit man yan o malaki mahalaga pa rin.
Which Cardinal/HD Spiker bench player do you think deserved more playing time?
Everyone. Kasi nakita ko at parte ako ng team na binibigay lahat sa ensayo, kahit may kanya kanyang trabaho o responsibilities hindi ginagawang excuse para hindi mag pursige sa training. Kaya kung hindi mo ipupush ang sarili mo para makasabay sa kanila ikaw na lang ang mahihiya.

Who’s your Cardinal/HD Spiker shoulder to cry on?
Actually lahat sila maasahan mo sa lahat ng oras, parang pamilya na kasi kami sa Cignal. Pero ang lagi kong kasama is yung OMSIM (Marck, Wendel, at si Malabunga) hahaha lahat sa Cignal pwede mo iyakan kahit coaches, pati na rin management.
Most heartbreaking game that you’ve lost and why?
NCAA Season 92 battle for the fourth spot against CSB, wala eh masakit kasi alam mong last playing year mo na. Wala ka ng bawi. Binuhos mo lahat lahat, from 5am road run to 2pm court training everyday. Pero ganun talaga may nananalo may natatalo, lessons talaga magpapatibay sayo.
Most unforgettable game and why?
2019 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference when we went up against Air Force for the chip! Grabe emotions ramdam mo yung gustong pagkapanalo ng bawat teammates mo sa dugout pa lang. Sobrang saya na nae-experience mo yung mga ganong moment. Lalo na sa loob ng court, kahit mabigat yung laro gumagaan dahil sa teammates ko. They pushed me all throughout the tournament grabe tiwala ng coaches sakin, and nakakatuwa kasi we ended victorious and my plus pa na award sobrang totoo na hard work pays off.
