Hi! I’m Vincent Mousseau, a social worker, researcher, and activist dedicated to exploring and uplifting the experiences of Black LGBTQ+ communities. My work intersects academia and community advocacy, with a focus on abolitionist, anti-racist, and decolonial perspectives. Currently pursuing a PhD in Social Work, my research dives into the complex identities within Black queer and trans communities, especially in spaces like ballroom culture.
Beyond research, I’m passionate about facilitating spaces for healing and community solidarity, particularly for those navigating grief related to global crises and systemic injustices. On this page, I share insights from my work, reflections on social justice, and resources for those interested in transformative approaches to social work and community resilience. Thank you for supporting my work!
