What I've been building lately

Oct 07, 2026

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I posted here, so here's a quick catch-up on my open-source projects.

macmon v0.9.0 is out with a redesigned terminal interface and a sortable, filterable process list. It also restores power readings on supported Macs running macOS 27, still without sudo. Keeping that working across macOS updates has involved quite a bit of digging into undocumented APIs.imagetwscrape continues to receive maintenance as X changes things on its side. Recent releases include compatibility fixes and restored user lookup by numeric ID. Thanks to everyone contributing fixes and reporting problems.

ghstats now supports embeddable SVG badges, so you can put your repository stats directly into a README or website. There's also badges for customizable badges and badgelib for generating them directly in Rust.

apigen-ts supports OpenAPI 2.0, 3.0, and 3.1, turning API definitions into a typed TypeScript client in a single file.

One slightly different project is hn-timeseries. A little Hacker News collector I'd mostly forgotten about had been quietly gathering data since November 2024. I've made that history public and moved the collector to GitHub Actions. If you're curious about how stories gain points, collect comments, and move through the rankings, there's data to explore.

I've also been working on delta-farmer, a Python bot for delta-neutral trading and points farming on crypto perpetual exchanges. It handles multi-account execution, position monitoring, and Telegram alerts, automating much of the repetitive work involved in running these strategies.

Thanks to everyone using these projects, opening issues, sending pull requests, and buying me coffee. It all helps keep things moving.

And yes, the coffee is real. Mostly filter. ☕
