Podcasts on Mantle of the Expert
Kia Ora - I'm Dr Viv Aitken. I'm based in Aotearoa New Zealand and for over 20 years I've researched, written about and taught using Dramatic Inquiry teaching approaches, including Mantle of the Expert. Along with my esteemed colleagues Tim Taylor (UK) and Whakarongo Tauranga (Aotearoa, NZ) I've produced two podcast series: Introduction to Mantle of the Expert (2021-25) and Effective Teaching in Mantle of the Expert (2020).*
We chose the "Buy Me a Coffee" platform to share our podcasts because we love the ethos. All episodes are freely available - just click on 'posts' at the top of the page. If you like what you hear, you may like to 'buy a coffee' - ie make a small donation. Click 'follow' and you'll receive info about future episodes as these are uploaded. As you listen through the episodes you can keep buying coffees - as many as you like - to a level you can afford. Your donations will go some way to covering the $2500 it cost to create each series. However, there's no obligation, no membership, no subscription to pay. And no ads or algorithms either!
Please note - sound quality on these podcasts is not the best. They were recorded over zoom and painstakingly edited over many months using Garage Band software. We trust you'll find the content makes up for the sound issues. Music and Sound effects are from www.pond5.com (used under licence).
Notes to accompany each episode can be found in the comment section. Please add your comments. And if you like what you hear, share the links with others. Thank you for your support ... Ngā mihinui.
