The latest update to the Missing Manual is now available from the Shop section, and will be posted to the Facebook group later in the week.
This is a minor update to confirm that the text is up to date for the recent 1.8.2 firmware (although I do not recommend you update from 1.8.0 unless you are having problems, since there are no feature upgrades) and also to add some new tips:
Add icons for amp models with suspected stability issues
Reverb sculptor (see below) in FX Loop tricks and tips
Add suggested fix for IR/NAM loading issues (htcache folder)
Add reality check note in FAQ
Update signal path diagram (master volume is in digital domain)
Update section on “Custom IR Handlng” to reflect latest information
Updated the section on quiet IR files
Going forward, I will attempt to make the MM version number track the latest version of either firmware or software (depending on which is higher). If there are intermediate updates then the Missing Manual version will be something like 1.8.2a, 1.8.2b, etc. This will enable me to track interesting and useful custom firmware changes as and when they appear.
