Jacqueline and the Beanstalk pantomime script (panto no 1)

Our intrepid heroine Jacqueline (Jacq) and her best friend Mulch the Miller’s Son manage to:climb a beanstalk;sell her cow;trick some giants into eating wheat flour (not pulverised humans);make a fortune; and find a suitable marriage partner for her mother… a man who might have plotted the whole sequence of events…

Playwright's notes:

This is the first Guide pantomime I wrote. Jacqueline really carries it and has lots of lines, so you need a superstar lead. Subsequent pantos have more evenly balanced character distribution.

The Safety Curtain is the chorus, so can accommodate as many players as you wish.

What can you expect?

A lot of puns :-D
Wholesome content
Short scripts - the performance will last about 20 minutes
More female than male roles as the script was written for a Girlguiding unit
Lots of parts. If you have a smaller group you can consolidate or even delete some minor characters.
Audience participation... oh yes there is!

Inka Dot's Pet Full Stop - a playful, visual guide to punctuation

I am full of joy and whimsicality and I am excited to share this with you. 2026 is the year of Inka Dot's Pet Full Stop, so I am focusing on creating, printing and promoting my zine to make grammar fun! Additionally I offer laughter sessions (I reeeeally want to cheer wedding guests with laughter), creative writing exercises to build confidence, and pantomime scripts perfect for Girlguides.

VibrantKate started in 2011 but a couple of years later I had my first child and paused my business to spend the next twelve years home educating him and his brother. I am now a single parent and my ex supports us financially but my goal is to build my business now so that in five or six years I can be financially independent.
