Over the last few years VEX has been busy in bringing the work of our collective to YOU via our Workshops at the Ventnor Exchange, shows at Ventnor Fringe, bi-monthly open mic night ‘Speakeasy’, zine ‘VEX Bomb’ or our numerous collaborations with other poets and artists.
However, we’re fairly transparent in saying that some of these things, the zine in particular, take a lot of time to produce and often comes out of our own pocket. We really want to keep doing this but it’s becoming harder to sustain the quality and diversity of projects VEX curates without your support
A few months ago we set up a page on ‘Buy Me A Coffee’ to help fund, amongst other things, our fabulous zine ‘VEX BOMB’. If everybody who took a copy, read a couple poems, maybe saw one of our shows at Fringe or one of us perform at ’Speakeasy’ gave us just the price of a cup of coffee every once in a while then we’d be able to keep VEX going and producing the work we’re proud of for years to come.
