My name is Veronika and I take all pictures and videos on Instagram Mystery of Jerusalem. 

 After many years of dreaming about it, I am officially in the process of conversion to Judaism in Israel! With the help of G-d - one day soon❤️ - my biggest dream to join Am Israel - will come true! 🥰🇮🇱 But joining Am Israel comes with challenges, I am here all by myself and although I have a great support from my midrasha and wonderful families here in Jerusalem, I would like to kindly ask your for donation and help me to not only continue Mystery of Jerusalem but actually also to stay here in Israel! I have been privileged to call Jerusalem home for almost 8 years already! On 2.1. 2014 I left my comfortable life in Prague, in the beginning of a promising career and after finishing my Master in Art Management, I arrived for the first time to Israel. I knew from the very beginning, that this trip is going to change my life forever. And so it did.❤️ I did many things, I volunteered in guest house, kindergarten or hospice with handicapped people, worked in social services, just finished master in Israel Studies at the Hebrew U. No one back in Czech Republic can understand why would I spend so many years working for "nothing"- and sometimes I don't understand myself either, but then I go out to the streets of Jerusalem and I see a magnificent sunset over the holy city and I am the happiest person on the Earth. I was not born Jewish; thus, I am not "obligated" to "defend" Israel, but I cannot stand the lies spread about Israel by worldwide media. That's why when I saw an opportunity to study M.A. in Israel Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, I took it - to become a real journalist and to show authentical Israeli face to the world! I feel that I need to use my gift of taking pictures, for Israel, because I need to pay back all those amazing moments I have lived here!
