Hi, I'm Veronica, a mother of six in the Blue Mountains in Greater Sydney, Australia.
I've been hanging around church choirs for as long as I can remember. For my 18th birthday I started attending a Latin Mass regularly, then married, started having kids, and found out that the arcane typesetting system I had learned for my undergraduate thesis in Electrical Engineering was useful for typing up Gregorian chant.
I made a book called A New Book of Old Hymns so you can sing along with the beautiful chant alongside a translation.
Then we moved further away from the beautiful choir and I volunteered to help get some missa cantatas going in Western Sydney. Soon I found myself learning about playing the organ, singing all the propers and getting inexperienced youngsters to sing in harmony.
To facilitate choir practice for geographically challenged volunteers my YouTube channel began, then Christmas 2020 I released Sing the Little Office on Udemy and Gumroad.
