Upgrades Update

Upgrades Update

Aug 03, 2026

We recently took some new photos of the Wrangler on the same hill where we took the first set of photos several months ago. I’ll post both pictures below. While we’re comparing them, it seems like a good time to recap what’s been done to the Wrangler so far as well as what we have left to do.

We have replaced the tires and wheels and added a small lift. We also added a winch, front recovery hooks, and we’ve completed an oil change. We have mounted lights on the A-pillar as well as a chase light, but they’re not hooked up. We do have an Aux Beam switch unit from our previous Jeep to control the lights, we just haven’t had time to connect it yet. As we shared in a previous post, we have switched to a safari top with a windjammer back window and a duster deck cover over the back seat.

The major projects we have left to do are a rear recovery point, some skid plates and rock rails or some other kind of side protection. A general engine tune-up will also be needed at some point.

We have a good variety of content coming up on our YouTube channel, so be sure you’re subscribed, and stay tuned!
