Buy Vanessa Richter a coffee

Hey — I’m Vanessa!

I’m the one-woman-show — aka face, writer, and photographer — behind Venture Beyond the Picture.

I started this blog to share my love for nature and outdoor adventures — from sweeping landscapes and wildlife encounters to quiet trail moments and real stories from the woods. Here, you’ll find nature-focused travel guides, hiking tales, and photography that celebrates wild places and the beauty of simply being outside.

This blog is a labor of love. I want this space to feel inspiring and real for adventurous souls like you. If you enjoy what I create and want to support the free resources I create, you can figuratively get the caffeine flowing.

Your support helps cover costs associated with maintaining the website, pouring my time, heart and energy into writing and researching, and, of course, coffee — i.e. it helps me keep sharing thoughtful content without distractions. Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping me keep this blog going. It means the world to me. 🌿
