Über VegfestUK
an events company specialising in Vegan educational content
VegfestUK came into existence back in Bristol in 2003, with the launch of the Bristol Vegan Fayre – the first event of its kind to mix up veganism with rock-‘n-roll and a festival vibe. The success of the Bristol Vegan Fayre was the inspiration behind many of the vegan events in the UK since then, including our own further events in Brighton, Glasgow and London organised by our team.
VegfestUK has put on around 40 vegan festivals across the UK over the last 2 decades, bringing under one roof a cornucopia of utterly delectable vegan food, drinks, clothing, footwear, cosmetics, skincare, jewellery, magazines, on top of an illustrious list of special guests, headliners and comedians, alongside some truly unforgettable talks, cookery demos, kids activities, live performances and yoga classes, and not to mention lots and lots of big smiles and potentially life-changing festivals encouraging everyone to follow a vegan way of life.
With the advent of the pandemic in March 2020 and the closure of indoor events, we currently operate online. Global Vegfest is hosted online every 3 months, free to attend, featuring our Global Marketplace alongside multiple talks, debates, panels and presentations around veganism and plant based lifestyles. We also publish 2 free online magazines – Plant Powered Planet and Forca Vegan. Each publication appears every 3 months
In addition, we host the VegfestUK Awards every year, which celebrate the best vegan products in the UK.
