In 2024, Emergence Arts finalized her articles of organization and officially became an LLC. I'm really proud of the journey my many careers has led me and by far is my or this story over. It's very much only beginning.

I’d describe myself as an enthusiastic librarian, innovative artist, and passionate creative coach who has dedicated herself to mentoring emerging artists, hospitality workers, and public service professionals to express themselves through visual, sensory, and STEM arts as a means to balance the demands of their careers, homes, and lives. My work is rooted in fostering creativity, building strong communities, and promoting mental and behavioral health awareness + equity through personal connections and cultural programming.

For years my work has varied between curating themed and cultural exhibits, hosting a variety of arts + craft programs such as jewelry making and paint socials, and organizing community cleanups near creative landmarks, galleries, and public art spaces. These adventures provide participants with the opportunity to explore their creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment and grow alongside a group of individuals with shared goals.

My goals have evolved since I started over ten years ago; today I feel a need to create a "third place" for individuals seeking an alternative to venues like bars or restaurants and to create an inclusive, no-pressure space where questions and self-expression flourish. This space would allow individuals to engage in meditative, mindful activities that encourage personal growth and artistic exploration. 

Funding through memberships would be instrumental in continuing these community programs by helping cover costs of supplies and materials which in turn help keep ticket prices low for attendees. I’d also allocate a budget toward marketing and advertising efforts, which are essential for building awareness and growing my business.

And, if you donate, this funding would mark a significant milestone for my business, reducing the reliance on personal funds to cover start-up programming expenses. Regardless of the outcome, I am committed to ensuring that people of all experience levels, backgrounds, and self-expression feel comfortable and confident in exploring new materials, experimenting with textures, and embracing the creative process. This space will be one where people can collaborate, tap into alpha waves, take risks, and discover new ways to express themselves fully.
