I am currently Postdoctoral Scholar with the University of Minnesota Department of Geography, Environment, and Society, collaborating with the Institute for Social Research and Data Innovation (ISRDI) and the NSF Institute for Geospatial Understanding in an Integrated Discovery Environment (I-GUIDE).
My work and personal goals focus on using data-driven methods and spatial perspectives to solve environmental health and environmental justice issues. I believe that, through research and creative approaches to data and analysis, we can identify and solve our world’s environmental and social problems and create a better future for everyone.
Your support will help me continue to work on my R Spatial Notebooks project, a collection of code notebooks designed to support researchers, analysts, and data enthusiasts create reproducible spatial workflows in R. Designed in collaboration with IPUMS and the NSF I-GUIDE. Learn more about the project on my website: https://vavramusser.github.io/r-spatial.
