comes and goes

Jun 13, 2026

Funky sounds of pop music got me out of bed this morning, thanks to the group of youth in party costumes. It unlocked a deep-seated desire for carefree moments like this one, - returning to someone’s home for the afterparty while the sun is not yet out.

I don’t remember when the last time was I did it.

Was it December 2024? I mean, it wasn’t exactly a sunrise return due to the curfew in place; however, it was a care-free walk under the sky full of stars. There was the light-headed sense of anything could happen. Maybe that is something about letting go and not getting stuck in one’s head, but rather moving to another side of the body, like, if it’s your full body swaying from side to side, like on the dance floor. And as I think of that moment, me mind adds the next picture, where sunrise is already present: returning from the grandparents’ field. That morning I confused the metro line direction, but still made sure I would walk past the same corner as on that starry night, even though it was already Summer of 2025. However, anything could happen in that moment, as well as today, even if me party is the one of me and a rainy typewriting session. Maybe the power of each light-headed morning is like that of the butterfly, - to remind and to inspire, while the direction of the applied action remains each other’s choice.

It kept on raining these days
I’m grateful for it. It slows things down and helps me see
that what I can’t quite put in words to be
But I can feel, and, maybe, that’s enough, you see
I remind myself it's good for the roots, as I pack my boots

Anything could happen arrives to me ears again. This time by me own choice, as this time I am going to put on my ball gown and hit the streets, and, later, the forest. I am scared. I am scared of - anything could happen - because the worst happened, and not once, but several times in my lifetime, but I still try to believe that this time god loves two, not more. So I patch up the hole with a streamlined glitter and step into the unknown, into anything could happen, as my soul needs it: to be held by the music, to let go just for a bit, to let fresh air in before I get back to keep working on me own beat.

Spring of 2026 showed me that physical and emotional bruises belong in one box, - our body, our vessel in this world. And there are times for kicks, and there are times for blocks.

And there are times to be
Cause, darling, can’t you see
At times I’m tired to carry the world
So, just give me a word and hold me, while I lay down my sword
